Featuring: Kouryuu & Ken'yuu of Saiyuki,
and various levels of experimentation with brushes, typography, and motion blurs.

Would very much have liked to portray them as good little playmates, but for the lack of appropriate pictures...

Done by s.C.,
using Photoshop 6.0 (while it lasted, before dying on me), and afterwards Photoshop CS.
Brushes are taken from the very excellent vbrush

Keeper of Sanzo's dreams,
and Nataku's child within.

Scanned! Translated! Efficiency! Achievement!

But Spymac ain't cooperating.

So this is where hollosite comes in handy again. Beware s.C. the big Devourer-of-Webspace! *shows fangs*

I haven't put up July's translation yet. Because it's still atrocious. I hates keigo! It bites! >_<

Off to camp tomorrow. (So will the rest of you. So why am I writing this entry? :D;;) And I haven't finished drawing the AkabaneGinji chibis yet! Oh the shame. I'm bringing a sketchbook there in case I get bored.

 2 demerit points だけです! :D

が、

Immediate failure も付けられちゃったからなぁ。いやぁぁぁぁぁぁぁぁぁ(打撃中。)
(The japanese and chinese in this entry are just experiments. Don't know if it'll work. Btw, super long entry ahead. Feel free to skip ^__^)

No, my tester didn’t say that of course; he’s a nice person. (Well, actually I find 99% of the people I meet nice, so my opinion doesn’t count.) What he did in the circuit -though-, when he found the queue of vehicles in front of me stopping too long for his liking, was to press the horn -repeatedly- for about 5 seconds before totally leaning on the horn for 3 WHOLE SECONDS. People were like staring at us while I was cringing away in the driver‘s seat feeling a tad shattered. But he’s not an un-nice person. O, the rights you get as a tester. Yup.

What made me fail though, was the not-giving-way to taxi incident. It still feels strange to me now, that after giving way to all the necessary vehicles, I had checked leftrightleftright again because T-junctions are troublesome like that, and I saw no vehicle and started to move. And then suddenly this taxi was there! Phantom taxi omg.
So yes, while the situation was not dangerous, the offence was serious, so it was quite a deserved fail, though wasted. But it’s still very bizarre. Man, must these kind of things always choose to happen in tests and exams? -_-

Apparently chewsy saw me driving cos -she- was driving too! Coolness! But I would’ve thought that would give me more luck~ Oh well.

And mum. She was infuriated. She accused me of not getting enough sleep that day -- which is not true -- and started attacking my sleeping habits, computer habits, anime, manga, and everything she could think of that might have “done in” my eyes. I think she’s kept a lid on this rant for quite some time and she wanted an excuse to blow it, so I let her rant. Though I did put in a few “rebellious words” (as parents like to call them; we call it our “opinion”) here and there because, hey, it’s not as if I wished to fail either.

(This entry is brought to you by s.C.’s curiosity and appropriate Windows XP Regional and Language Options settings in the laptop… which the desktop PC never did have. Moving on…)

But now that -that’s- over, I’ve made a to-do list for this week (i.e. must be done before going off for orientation camp). It isn’t much, but I’ve got to be realistic about my procrastination-inclined self after all :D

1) Scan AND translate Saiyuki
2) Engage in intensive arting. Must draw stuff.
3) If possible find a new word for “procrastination” because it’s such an over-abused word. -.-

And provided it comes back up again soon, maybe 4) change the SFusion pages a little. The SFusion site, I mean. (All right, whose wise idea was it to name both site and blog the same name?? Me?)

So if I don’t get (1) done before next week, y’all may brick me. If I don’t do enough of (2), I’ll go engage in some head-wall-bashing myself. Any suggestions for (3)? ...No, not a suggestion for the punishment... You know, the alternative word?

I'm actually going to be disciplined today and am going to bed by 11pm. (For a reason, of course.)

It was meant to be 10pm but I'm not... that disciplined.

Heck, it's 11.09pm now!!!

(OH NO I HAVE ZERO CONFIDENCE TOMORROW)

...That's how I psyche myself up :D

(THERE'S GONNA BE HEAVY TRAFFIC AND ALL NOOOOO)

Goodnight people.

 evil things happen!

Have been trying to figure out what exact evil in the world is accounting for the tiredness and general slackness lately. Turns out it's the driving lessons -- at least, that's the only new thing that's come into daily routine in the previous few days. Morning sessions + s.C. = *dead* because s.C. is not a morning person (in the sense that she roams the earth -before- 6am but not after).

Anyway, I cycled to the previously-mentioned friend's house yesterday, but not before detouring to the previously-mentioned (did I?) "Vietnam-like-lake/river/canal" just to take a picture of it for y'all to see. Alas! the supposedly glass-smooth trees-reflecting ripple-less surface -- I had truly thought it could rival the real Vietnam lakes photos stormy put up some time ago, minus the mountains -- was all but reduced to a muddy brown... with a vague odour reminiscent to that of polluted waters. Well, that was really sad, since I couldn't possibly take a photo of -that- (plus it takes about half an hour to get there on bike!!!), could I? My only hope is that the wash of mud and dirt is merely the rain's making - that the unsightly scenery is temporary. But it had been such a sunny day... -.-
AND! the sun was so totally shining throughout my ride yesterday; sucks to be pasir ris park last Thursday afternoon :D

Also, I came across a postbox in that random bike ride. So I slipped the conveniently-in-my-bag EEE orientation camp form in. SOMBODY *glares* can breathe easy now. Unless I forgot to put the cheque in or something :D

In the friend's house, I helped the youngest brother draw a picture for homework. o_O More precisely, it's a portrait of a character in the book Red Sky In The Morning (which I think I have read before...).
...Now why weren't WE ever assigned such a homework in secondary school???? (Not that I can remember anyway) Then I won't have such a history of doing homework at the last minute *dies a million deaths at the memory*

Plus I sprained/hurt the left bigtoe while driving. It's most bizarre and I really can't figure out how.

Monday, June 27, 2005 :: 12:22 a.m.

Arrrr. Am knackered. Despite yesterday's cycling session not being too strenous, and today's chinese opera concert not being particularly boring, I'm still tired now, having reached home after midnight. But will persevere to go friend's house for mahjong tomorrow. *grins* But for now, I'm classified Very Dead.

Hm. The SFusion site is being naughty. Everytime I have the -intention- to upload something it dies on me for a few days. -.-

Saturday, June 25, 2005 :: 01:32 a.m.

People left and right are getting sore throats in the past few days. Watch me fail to praise Strepsils (with Honey & Lemon!) highly enough. At least, it's always worked for me. And it's doubly effective since honey itself helps sore throats too. Not that we have the right to suspect real honey is being put in there. *sage nod* Yes, I'm done endorsing Strepsils(r) and getting paid the $$$. I mean. No. Um, get better soon, people!

Received the avalanche of fliers this afternoon for various orientation camps. At the same time, a receipt of a $200+ pay arrived in the mailbox. ...THAT. ...Well let's just say that somebody probably forgot to hand in my timesheet a month ago but (luckily) did so last week. And in doing so (being late with the timesheet), apparently no CPF was deducted off the original amount, just as was once said by a colleague. So... windfall, yes? Which possibly will lead to me going to one if not two of the camps. *eyes PL's ghost hovering around*

Also, my driving instructor promised to lend me a book on electronics! Now how did that happen. XD But I bet he'll forget it like how he keeps forgetting to show me his daughter's photo. (No, he's not from the Maes Hughes School of Brandishment-of-Daughter's-Photo; he just thinks I look like her. @_@)

And I like to write in a deliberately prosaic manner at times :)

Wednesday, June 22, 2005 :: 10:11 p.m.

Laptop addiction is worse than Internet addiction. Woe.

Caught a moth midflight with my bare hands; is in perfect condition to take up softball again.

Realised I'm reading GetBackers for Akabane. (ha! ha! ha!)

Orientation camps are ridiculous in that they bleed about $100 off you if you attend all of them. Which is awkward since mum complained to me about financial matters just a few days ago. Think I'll wait out another couple of days.

Have drawn the silver haired boy. Hawtness. He shall be SFusion's cover boy. He shall. Someday. If I get over my inking phobia.

Tomorrow will be the first driving lesson I'm having after a month's hiatus. Beware when crossing roads around that region. And damn, the driving test's only a week away.

Monday, June 20, 2005 :: 11:17 p.m.

First is the laptop, then comes the prizes from Kagenami (and -then- comes free tickets for some opera concert but that's another story)! Much looove. ^__^
In the meantime, I have been hugging my laptop to pieces, while dad went "teehee!" in a corner and got the desktop PC all to himself for several days. (Yeah. I'm quite sure he did that.) The first test I gave the laptop (actually it's a "Notebook", but what is the difference?) was openCanvas because I was dying to try CGing with the touchpad thingy anyway. Then I had entirely too much fun doing this BECAUSE I CAN FINALLY USE A COMPUTER FACING A WINDOW AND NOT A WALL OMG. (Ok, got that out of my system.) So yeah, that's 5% of the night scenery outside my window and I'm telling myself to add more details each night so Mr Lamppost & co won't feel so lonely.
And then I tried something heavyduty like Terragen, and that turned out fine as well. Not much lagging at all! :D I believe it has even more memory than my desktop PC.

So I promptly transferred hundreds of Mbs of unread manga (Get Backers, Angel Sanctuary, etc) into the laptop, stacked some burnt CDs at the side, and prepared myself for a couple of blissful nights ahead, all in the comfort of my own room. ......Mueheheheheh. *eyes glint*

Consequently, I totally polished off the Getbackers stormy lent me in just ONE & A HALF nights. One and a half nights I'm telling yer! Just what constitutes "half a night" I don't quite know either, but I'll have to remind myself not to watch things till 6 in the morning. *headaches*

And then I read 8 volumes of Get Backers in another night.

And then I realised that -- after watching GB and Yami no Matsuei -- silver hair = damn cool bishies, even when some of them are not meant to be cool.

Must draw silver-haired bishies in the near future.

...But now I've finally detached myself from the laptop -- momentarily perhaps, but let's not take the credit away -- and is back amongst the living! (Since when is the Internet for the living? Ah well.) Aren't yall happyyy I'm online again? ("Should we be?") ;_; Ahhhmm well............

..................(now is like how late already?) *crawls away to read GB vol 9*

Saturday, June 18, 2005 :: 04:24 a.m.

Saturday, Sunday and Monday at a Glance (and probably for the rest of the month):

Apparently, my grandmother sent some money over to reward me for getting into university. Being the 2nd youngest in this long family tree, I wonder how much she's already spent on all my older cousins. Hee. Anyway, Dad promptly bought me a laptop without even telling me (not that I mind). And so it was a nice surprise, and so (more commentaries will come later)...

===========

Sometimes I wish I wasn't so perfectly anal when scanning+editing ZS - and it's not as if they come out perfect in the end anyway - because it takes soooo muuuch looonger than I really need to! But here are the July scans all the same, fresh off the PS in semi-pernickety fashion. Yum!
Translations will come later since Soushin-doushisama likes to show off his vocabs too much. No... actually the truth is... the first colour page has already discouraged me for a few days XD Oh dear, certain sentences that Japanese can portray in one shot just cannot be done the same in English. That goes for other languages too *briefly remembers intention to do -that- minor*

Tuesday, June 14, 2005 :: 02:11 a.m.

Was having a little afternoon nap just now, and had a slightly disturbing dream. Dreamt of the 1999 Ryan Giggs FA Cup Semi-Final Extra Time Goal (whew what a long name; must remember to add "Wonder" before "Goal" next time), which was all great and nice, really. But WHY. oh why when he was celebrating the goal (in my dream he had only half his shirt off. Luckily. *cringe*) he had wings on his back??

o_O

Too much Tsubasa! I've finally succumbed to teh Wingity! >_< Or, no - on second thoughts - those wings look creepily similar to the ones Minekura drew in this month's ZS. Why yes.
...But, it was a strange dream all the same,
like,
Why was Viera (who gave the ball away with so much passion in the dream) wearing a yellow and green jersey? *sings* "Are you Newton Heath in disguise~?" XD His teammate Dixon - or was that Keown, hm - was wearing red n white all right, not that it helped when Giggs weaved so beautifully under him. (yes it's UNDER, not "around" or "over". I will refrain from making a comment about gayness. Ohshitidinsaythat @_@)
And when Giggs made to strike the ball, he used his -right- foot instead of the usual - and historically correct - left foot.

And it's strange in that I actually remembered so much details....

...when just the other day I dreamt of drawing a little chibi Death Note comic but when I woke up I only remembered the ending. ;_;

And... oops, apparently my EJ has been discovered by XN. That's what you get when you put real names there and have Google squeal on you. XD ...Hello XN, you didn't discover the link that leads from there to -this- journal did you? *waves hello just in case*
On a related note, lookie! Those of you who know what I'm actually referring to... isn't that an apt occupation? :D

I can only use the comp till 8pm today. Finished this entry just in time~

Friday, June 10, 2005 :: 07:57 p.m.

 when in ramblingmood, use font size 11px

I used to have 544 objects on my windows desktop and now after some housekeeping I have only 498 left liek w00t!!!!!
No, really. I'm just too darn lazy to put newly-created/downloaded stuff into those things sane people call Folders. The viewable area of my desktop can only show 144 objects. The objects have since formed their own Friendster circle.

... ...

Okay now, this ::points at a certain sizable population of the desktop denizens:: is getting ridiculous. How the heck did I manage to accumulate so many jrock/jpop/generally jsongs lately? Especially those direngreys. Omg do not tell me I've just downloaded 5 Dir en Grey songs today just because I came upon them while only trying to find 1 nice song by a Takahashi Hitomi (which is Bokutachi no Yukue btw... a Gundamsomething OP song. Is nice.) which I heard on Animax. Anyhow I weakly caved in to promptly downloaded the 3 other songs attached to that very same BokutachinoYukue single as well. How tragic. *watches # of Desktop Items grow exponentially* o_O

Which brings me to Animax. Today there had been a whole-day free broadcasting of the Animax Channel on Preview Channel. I found that out accidentally. And of course I had to watch it. That was 1pm.
By 6pm I was going a bit starry-eyed, if only because I was going to see stars if I didn't get away from the TV soon. Well fair enough, I was getting a bit sick of the dubs anyways. Yes, the preview channel didn't come with DUAL SOUNDS like the original Animax does, which means,

I WATCHED SAIYUKI RELOAD DUBBED. DX And it was episode 2 - a filler - which didn't make my ears bleed any less. Hakkai and Yaone sounded lewd. XD But then again nobody sounded decent except Kougaiji and perhaps Doku. And Gojyo? And Lirin. Oh, my mistake, that should be RinRin -- and c'mon don't be shy with the pure "R" sounds like how you say "Rrrraisins"! RINRIN! XD wait wrong emoticon that should be x_X
And now how about you imagine Sanzo and Kou saying respectively, "Let Heaven watch over me" or "I feel the darkness overtake me"?
Yeah, it sounds all right.
But.
How about saying it n times and real fast like how you dare people to "say this sentence quickly 10 times!"?

Then you'll get this amalgam of
LetHeavenwatchovermeLetHeavenwatchovermeLetHeavenwatchovermeLetHeavenwatchoverme
LetHeavenwatchovermeLetHeavenwatchovermeLetHeavenwatchovermeLetHeavenwatchoverme
IfeelthedarknessovertakemeIfeelthedarknessovertakemeIfeelthedarknessovertakeme
IfeelthedarknessovertakemeIfeelthedarknessovertakemeIfeelthedarknessovertakeme
IfeelthedarknessovertakemeIfeelthedarknessovertakeme

when in reality, they were just trying to call up Makai Tenjou and Engoguki to defeat this Buggy Bad Guy and weren't really having a strange tongue-twister contest. At that moment, I had renewed respect for the voice actors. Like totally.
Sadly, I had no idea what Sanzo yelled in place of "Makai Tenjou" so I can't make fun of that.

Oh wait, wait! Enough of that! (/>_<)/ Hadn't planned on making such a long post in the first place. -_-;; So then I watched Wolf's Rain OVA (last episode... just to spite me.) and others that actually worked as dubs since the stories are set in those English-speaking places and it doesn't feel too awkward.

(Darn, really have to sleep now.)

And LASTLY~~~~ I'm just glad the Saiyuki Reload 5 tank is coming my way soon. I didn't send another email to kagenami to ask since it didn't seem very polite :D I mean it's not like I paid for it and had the right to -have- it or something. Turns out she merely overlooked my email. Whee. *waits patiently*

(...What's wrong with enetation lately?)

Thursday, June 9, 2005 :: 03:33 a.m.

 The world ends on the day...

...when you find your mousedrawn Fai nicer looking than your pencildrawn Fai. *is mortified*

Okay anyway, I can't believe I'm saying this, and linking this, but I enjoyed this game more than I need to, which made me wonder if it's the angst and background story and the cute little toys (...hey wait...) ...They're poor abused cute fluffy little toys! What's wrong with me this game?! Ah, no, I mean, believe me, the sense of Achievement you get when you cure each of them and learn about their poor abused histories is... rather gratifying. I liked the little hippo toy the most. ...'cos when he plays tetris he looks so cute. XD

I dreamt of Mrs S__h today. As well as a couple of you in that class. And I got the highest mark (71/100!) in an assignment that involved me drawing a little comic strip with OMG OMG in two of the speech bubbles. x_X Dream interpreter plz?

*back to scanning zerosum*

Tuesday, June 7, 2005 :: 10:22 p.m.

 Who wants to hear the tale of how she nearly walked into a wall/door yet again?

The title is misleading. Nevermind.

Been waking up these couple of days at an hour that would see me miss both breakfast and lunch, and if I'm lucky, be one hour early for dinner. Then live through the rest of the night on Oreos and Ritz and Hersheys.

*feels malnourished*

Wonder if this has to do with sleeping on a different bed, or just plain because I'm now sleeping in a room where the sun doesn't shine through the windows to wake me at a sane hour.

YEEAHBABY. My mother has gone on one of her room-shifting sprees again -- something she does at the slightest excuse and something I abhor with a passion 'cos it would most probably mean dented books and torn manga and crumpled drawings under her well-intentioned but careless hands. To her credit, this session actually went rather successfully -- there were only dented casualties.

I didn't object to the room-shifting this time, since it's rather... somewhat... fairly... quite... passably... justified. Yes. ...To digress a little, for the past week, the time left till the choose-uni deadline and the amount of mother's pestering have taken on an inversely proportional relationship:
(7 days till deadline)
Mum: Go to NUS! Go to NUS! (That's 2 times in a day, as you will note)
(6 days till deadline)
Mum: Go to NUS! Go to NUS! Go to NUS! (3x)
(5 days till deadline)
Mum: Go to NUS! Go to NUS! Go to NUS! Go NUS! (4x)
(4 days till deadline)
Mum: Go to NUS! Go to NUS!
s.C.: (ignores her the first time; plays it cool the 2nd time) But I've already clicked the accept NTU button.
Mum: ... ... ... ... Switch to NUS! Switch to NUS!
(3 days till deadline)
Mum: Switch to NUS! Switch to NUS! Switch to NUS! Switch to NUS! Switch to NUS! Switch to NUS! (6x. Not quite a proportionate increase, I must admit)
s.C.: ... ...
Mum: Ah, so that's a yes?
(2 dayz till deadline!)
Mum: Have you switched? No? I thought you agreed!
s.C.: ... ...
Mum: Ah, so that's a yes? (repeat this 3-line-cycle 8x. That's 8 TIMES. argh)
(1 day till deadline)
Mum: You haven't switched? Switch please! (repeat 4x ...yes, someone's finally burning out...)
(TODAY)
Mum: Have you switched? It's the last day switchswitchswitchswitchswitch (repeat 2x)
s.C.: (thinks) I don't even know if I can switch at this time already. (says nothing)

...And yes, my mother does sound like she's pleading, which is quite scary to hear. And each time her pestering lasts at least 3 minutes. 5 minutes with explanation if she's in the mood. How's that for annoying. But what's more scary is that she actually -believed- I switched my choice of uni (see Before.Deadline.Day 2) when I merely made a nasal noise to placate her "switch!" plea the previous day. Hello~ you're telling me to think clearly before choosing, but at the same time you're telling me to just -think- of one reason I would want to go NUS and then just choose it -- so the choice made after months of pondering (NTU) is less clear than a choice-that-would-be-made-on-one-reason (NUS) had I listened to your 1-week advice? This isn't Japan (well, close enough), and the reputation of the university you enter is less important. I hope. :D But NTU eng is good enough for me.

Oh yes, so what does it have to do with the room switching? Ever since her burning out (B.D.D. 1), she concluded I would probably be in some hostel sometime in the near future, so she decided to relinquish my room (which is the master bedroom -- no, don't ask) to the rightful mastersss. Which is how I now end up in my old room (the room I had before mum switched me to the master bedroom... man she just -likes- to switch furniture) with a different bed, smaller room (thus higher chance of breaking something with my football), but at the same time I got back the hi-fi set -- a great timing 'cos I just bought a 2nd-hand Savage Garden CD for just $3 thanks to stormy's pointing out of the shop :D

And about the title of this entry. Just yesterday I nearly banged into the closed masterbedroom door when I automatically turned right coming out of the corridor. ...This room-switch thing will take some getting used to.

 Saiyuki commentary from the One who went to Changi when she's supposed to meet in Tampines.

Let me cover up the embarrassing squealing in the previous entry by running up a couple of colourpages scans of July's Saiyuki (which comes up to a hefty 30 pages thereabouts).

Hakkai endorsing a sexy-looking orange. (or is it the other way round...) But I still won't start liking oranges.

Colourpage includes a little panel of Seiten Taisei. And Minekura-sensei further reminds us of the gayness that is UkokuHazel by tinting the whole page purple.

Eeee! Zen. They look so at peace. (Especially Sanzo!) But I can't see Jiipu without nearly tearing the book. ;_; It's sleeping as well though, how sweeeet.

Gosh, this is some nice art for some mechandise I can't really make out. ("Cleaner"? Is that some kind of air freshener? Edit: It says "screen cleaner" right there. Doh. Now the question is, "what screen?")

Then, there's this mysterious looking illustration (the one covered with CAUTION!s) which, as far as I can tell, features a chibi-ish Sanzo-ikkou & Hazel&Gato. And Fan of Doom! Ooooo. The whole faded-background of this page shows this illustration as well, BUT, all the faces are covered! They did it on purpose! Seems like only "people who apply(?)" will get to see it in its entirety. ;_;

(I think I sound slightly sleepy... that's because I am.)

But wait! At the risk of sounding risque (ha.) ... what the hell is Sanzo doing? Is he making a gesture (not an obscene one, I hope) or is he pointing somewhere (as my bright red arrow helpfully points out as well)? Or perhaps he was holding his gun when the wind changed ("halp my hand is stuck"). Sanzooo, I need to know.

Right, I need sleep now.

Okie, with a cliffhanger of sorts and one obligatory Sanzo's-Leer-of-the-Chapter, I'm happy. :D And with the way things are going in this chapter, I think I'll love some character abuse in the next. ...Please?

Saturday, June 4, 2005 :: 01:22 a.m.

EEEEEEEEEEE.*foams* The Kurogane chess piece is so cute. Wait wait, lemme put 'em side by side...

And Yuuko and Fai are checkin' each other out! XD XD But Kuro-chan simply looks so magnificently cute.*buries face in hands* OMG THEY ARE JUST TOO DAMN CUUUUUUUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.............................anyway well um the pics are from CLAMP's official site, and is somewhere... here. I don't own them chess pieces and that's the problem. Guh. teh cuteness...

...Actually, in an attempt to curb the recent surge of excessive excessive TsubasaWuv, I tried to grab a copy of zerosum yesterday. But because of a stockcheck the previous day, Kino wouldn't ship in the japanese magazines until the next day. Foiled! >_<
Saiyuki should be in the opening coloured pages; I hope it'll make me squee when I get it tomorrow. (And it'd -better- be on the shelf then--)

And: Dear Legs, please get prepared for the walkin... I mean, shoppingfest tomorrow.

I feel sorry for the characters of animeTsubasa. Mokona is so damn huge in there that it must hurt muchly to have it seated on your head/hand(s), much less be pounced on. Please! It's supposed to fit on one palm snugly! Do bitesizemanjuu-ish and kay00t hold no meaning for the evilanimators? You can't eat it in one bite if it's so big, sheesh.

On account of the Department of Literacy in mah brain having somehow shut down in the last few days, I feel it's best to post pics instead of words. But then again, I had been working on a Fai and a SanzoSTSGoku drawings, yet they just refused to be drawn although I KNOW how I want them to come out. (ARGH my -whole- brain has shortcircuited!)

But salvation came when I went to my friends house just now. This stupid TEST THE MOUSE. NOW. urge whenever I came across others' computers reared its stupid head and that is how I came to draw:

Fai! Ain't he sexAy. As sexay as a mousedrawn pic allows. omg the hair is a bitch to do. (Btw, I find Clamp's style very hard to emulate. Maybe it's too shoujo a style ^__^;;) Can you tell which part is done by a fantastic optical mouse and which is done by my own crappy mouse? Hope you can't. ;)

Off to work on my other Fai drawing... Urgh, perspectives are such a bother.

Passed final theory, w00! (It just goes to show you don't have to study for it, damn mum and her scare tactics.) Incidentally, mum passed her Class 4 (bus) theory test today too, double w00hoo!
The enetation error that went on for a couple of days actually needed a manual debug. By manual I mean "manually discover there is something wrong with the js script, then click a convenient button thingy to regenerate the script" :D
And also by going through my layout code with a discerning eye, I realised this layout has actually survived all these months without a closing "</head>" that goes straight to <body>. @_@ How did that work??

You may have noticed I didn't mention anything about the Champions' League Final. That wouldn't be the case had mum not forced me to bed so early because of an early driving lesson the next morning (curses!). Now I'm just mourning the fact that I missed such a great game and a great comeback LIVE. ;_; But hey, the team I rooted for won! (unlike the FA up final) XD

-----------

Just the other day, I was walking home from the nearby mall. Since I usually ride my bike for this occasion, I thought it'll be interesting to note how long it will take on foot. But since it's a universally known fact that I don't wear watches (what do you mean you didn't know?!), and my handphone was hidden in the Deep Recesses of my admittedly-not-very-big bag (which will be handily forgotten as soon as I get home which is why you can never contact me via handphone muahaha), I decided to remember the songs played on my mp3player so I could track the time elapsed=time taken to get home.

The trip took exactly the songs Perfect Day, Pushing Me Away, and God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You to finish, which summed up a total time of 11: 36, and which is totally not the point of this entry.

With the right punctuations, don't you think the above song titles actually make up a logical sentence? And with a little bored excitement -- whatever that's supposed to mean -- I decided to see how far the titles could go till the sentence broke. That's how I got: Perfect Day; pushing me away, God must have spent a little more time on you. All the small things haunted clocks with you somewhere out there, have a nice day.
...I could squeeze Driftwood in there, but that would be pushing it...

So that would be 9 random songs making up a sentence in the -exact sequence- they were played -- isn't that fun. But what's more fun is that it can be your own DIY horoscope-of-the-day! Much like how my mp3 player prophesied with such wisdom just a moment ago:

Points of authority I miss you day and night evening news.
Obviously it thinks I don't watch enough evening news and like to oppose authority. And (gasp)(starry eyed) how right it is......!

...Crank up yer winamp and try your horoscope-a-day today! (Damn why do I sound so extremely spastic throughout this whole entry...)

Watched Detective Conan movie 6 - The Phantom of Baker Street. I happened to like it a lot. You see, with all the fuzzily-familiar references to Old London and Sherlock Holmes and the likes in the anime, I suddenly felt very wise and knowledgeable and would start to nod sagely and mutter "Ah, I know that fact" in a vaguely obnoxious manner. (Don't you just hate this kind of people? ^__^) This movie makes it a total 6 out of a possible 9 DConan movies I've watched altogether now, with the 8th movie already burnt into CD but still untouched, and the 4th movie still awaiting download. Ah, how I love DC movies. Swiped up the DC manga #49 yesterday as well, and found the undergoing plot getting -very- fascinating. (Yes it has a main plot gasp!)

My mum has the same kind of dilemma as I have now -- mine being which uni to go to, and hers being to work as a bus-driver? or as a privateomnibus-driver? She leans towards being a private driver who picks up schoolchildren to and fro school. Now, If I were a mean enough daughter, I would've told her
1) The SBS company has bigger reputation,
2) It has a variety of modules bonuses and care-services,
3) It has good job prospectives as a world-class uni government-based company
4) The research opportunities pay is better.

In short, I could've just thrown her back every single argument she's given to persuade me to go nus. But hey, I'm not a mean daughter :)

Argh, brain is not working lately. And my eye has been twitching for -2- straight days now. Is somebody thinking about me these 2 days? *grinz* C'mon, 'fess up :D

Thursday, May 26, 2005 :: 11:36 p.m.

 In which I become contemplative. Relatively.

I suspect I must be overshooting some unseen bandwidth cap on the spymac site to have it be down so often lately. But until the techsupports start explicitly telling me so,-- yo! i'm juz an ignorant unl33t person who;s leeching webspace for no apPaREent reason! :D
I'm putting up the scans one, by, one, by, one, because I'm just so damn efficient. XD *gets tomatoed* If in the end you wonder why page 8 isn't up, well, I was waiting for the sun to shine through the windows today so I could take a photo of it (my way of 'scanning' pics in the pre-scanner days) since it's a 2 page spread and I like to keep the middlefold. But, very conspirac-ically, THE SUN WASN'T SHININ' TODAY. Nor yesterday. What rebellious weather.

Anyway, like I've always suspected:

You scored as Hedonism. Your life is guided by the principles of Hedonism: You believe that pleasure is a great, or the greatest, good; and you try to enjoy life痴 pleasures as much as you can.

Ooooh, did you see the 60% of "Strong Egoism"? I believe that came from the questions which asked about whether you put your self-interest above others'. Those questions actually made me think you know, I'm not a very altruistic person now that I think of it, as much as I believe myself to be so, 'cos humans are quite naturally selfish aren't they, it's not like I'm any different
So while this is not one of my ichiban coherent and epiphanal thoughts in my meagre lifetime, it did make me go "Ahh, 'always work to benefit myself above others'? Why not?" *click slight-agree* "My own happiness and success are most important? Heh" *stabz medium-agree*

Of course, I naturally thought of PW - in which one can exercise egoism to its fullest - in a bid to support my thinking. (I -could- after all abuse my power as a groupleader, hm, but did I......? *wicked grin*) And let's leave it at that because PW had better totally disappear from my memory by year 2010. Oh oops, my apologies if I dug out your memories of PW. XD

I actually have a lot more to type about, but let's leave it for tomorrow.

<-Hey no, -that's- not procrastination.

*points at previous entry* Shopping will be the death of my legs one day. But vindication comes in the form of mum happily agreeing to my new purchases. Ha! Gone will be the days when she feared my venturing to malls alone just because of ONE LONE shopping disaster eons ago (<-it -was- truly a long time ago, plus it was with some umm abetting from chewsy. :D I was young and reckless and it.was.not.my.fault.alone.) I would like to dedicate this victory to the Two Other Hooded Ones. XD Save the whales!

worm9.html is up! And SFusion can now be accessed through ".com" as well~ As usual, I malinger on the scans. *ignores mysterious winkwinknudgenudges that-are-not-meant-for-me* :D
Will be learning auto car tomorrow. It's an extra early session. Let's see how -that- works out.

Sunday, May 22, 2005 :: 11:17 p.m.

I switched on the TV to watch the FA Cup Final... and slept through it all. -_-
No, it's not the match's fault (I think); it's just what happens when you've been "standing around" for 17 hours give or take, spread over the last 2 days. Standing around is exhausting work, really.

See, now I'm awake at this hour. Lemme attempt to go sleep again...

Sunday, May 22, 2005 :: 03:18 a.m.

...And every once in a while, I hone that little lost art of Dropping Off the Face of the Internet for a couple of days...
So let's see. Got caught in the rain just now. See, ever since I got that tiny slingbag you see me wearing nowadays, I just didn't bother to put an umbrella in -- not that one could fit in , of course, what with at least one random conveniently-sized book already hogging all the space on every trip.
It started out as a small drizzle (it always does, the deceitful little raindrops they are), and by the time it got big, I was walking in the middle of nowhere: the next shelter was as far in front as the previous shelter was behind. But it's not as if I don't like the rain; already soaked and with the company of my mp3 player, I decided to just stroll the rest of the way to the shelter instead of running because the stopping distance is TWICE on a wet road than on a dry one! <-Theory Test question today! because it somehow reminded me of when I played football/softball in the rain. It's a nice feeling. Especially if played barefoot :D

Time will tell whether I caught a cold. ^__^ But I doubt it. *sparkles*

Been rererererererereading Tsubasa againandagainandagain. I feel so drawn towards it... which I can't let happen! or horrendous kuroganefai (note there's no 'x' in between) fanart will spawn where it shouldn't! *huddles protectively over randomblankpieces of paper* And now because of Tsubasa, I've also taken up xxxHolic, which has very lovely black&white art (i.e.no usage of screentones at all) and nice short stories and plausible slashiness. Very nice.
Ah.
And.
GAIDEN IS BACK. choke! WARD. Good grief, will I be able to afford WARD? I'm not even working now. But, the temptation! It's been so long... Plus... I've not seen my Gaiden vol. 1 for more than 2 years now. That's like, erm, as far back as when the last gaiden chapter was released. ;_; ;_; ;_; Ok, must try and remember whose hands it is in. *knocks head*

Oh, speaking of which. I think I have translator's block. I'm staring at my translated lines of this month's saiyuki and wondering why it all sounds so awkward. Hakkai sounds so crude here! or, Gojyo sounds positively strange there... It's akin to looking at a whole fic of OOC characters. :D;; -- I just can't seem to find the right words. Hopefully I can bash out something half decent by later tonight or tomorrow. *is bricked* :D

Last note: Stupid internet booking system... (smirking inner-voice: Problem In Chair, Not In Computer...)

Thursday, May 19, 2005 :: 11:15 p.m.

Oh no, I can't believe I spent the whole day playing flash games. What's this procrastination thing yer talking about, again?

...So the NTU talk served its purpose, as expected, to raise my inclination-percentage to 91%, up one grand percent from the previous 90%. And then come next Saturday, I'll probably get swayed by NUS back to around a 51-49 percent, then I wouldn't be able to make my mind up, then it'll be back to square one then June will come then the wholeplacewillblowup. *whoosh*

One thing I regretted was that I didn't go find my "academic advisor" (a prof who was designated to me to answer my questions) to say bye when I left the reception, which... you know... he's quite a nice man and all, and he answered my questions as best as he could, pointed me out the the attachments/research things and stuff (AND he comes from hong kong!)... so I'll be losing some sleep over that then. :D

Also met a student adviser there who's a softballer (what are the odds?), who in fact sent me an sms today to say I could go to their trainings from Saturday on. @_@ That's fast. But I have driving lessons. Eheh. *twiddles*

I had actually written a story-like account yesterday that chronicled my -whole- yesterday, including how I woke up to a wasp in the morning, but I figured this more-boring entry will suffice. Wise, ain't I?

And it'll do me well to not forget about the Final Theory Test coming up in 4 days' time; it completely slipped my mind.

 s.C. zee leetle arteest, Part 2.

My dad was back from HK recently, but now he's off to KL again.

The computer is MINE ONCE MORE. mua.ha.ha.

Which admittedly doesn't quite justify my posting an entry so lat... early in the morning.

But alas can you mere mortals resist the grandeur of zis mastapiece!:

Apparently, in his sojourn to the Land Slightly Norther, father uncovered cryptic hieroglyphics in an ancient habitation -- the last unit on a 13th floor -- or what used to be the dwelling in his younger years. ...Pfft. In other words it was our house, okay? Our house in HK.

Hidden behind the broken veils of an old wardrobe, concealed from eyes that were less than incisive, exotic symbols loomed from the shadows, its authenticity made even more enticingly remarkable by a lone southward crack that marked the same wall.

"So, yes, you drew these when you were little."
"(sporfle)"
"I suspect that one is a dragonfly---"
"No way! It's a fish; can't you see? The head, the fins, the tail---"
"Ah yes, I believe you are quite right..."
"Why was my choice of colours so dull?"
"Let's see, is that one an airplane?"
"Would you believe me if I said 'brinjal'?"

Sorry. Just needed to get something rolling before I translate this month's Saiyuki for real. :D And no, I seriously don't know what I drew above. Care to suggest? (After the Spaceship Turtle episode with stormy, this can't be more pertinent.) XD

 Saiyuki - the detective story

Good gracious, I can't believe I had the luck of stumbling onto this - I've not visited the site in ages.

Just... just click the link if you wanna see
1) Gato in a black butler's suit
2) Kougaji peeling a potato
3) Half a panel of Dou in... a... chef's outfit
4) Gyokumen PWN3D killed
5) Sanzo PWNING doing a detective Conan "the murderer is j00!" pose. at. the. end.

(It's translated into chinese but you don't really have to read the words - it's plotless & linkless to begin with. If need be, just insert your own run-of-the-mill detective jargon aka Kindaichi/Conan. XD)

Life wasn't exactly boring today but this link simply has to take precedence.

Got around to meeting up with a classmate today. Amongst other things, I started joking about how I should finally grow my hair long and start shopping for skirts. ...which somehow led to,

Friend: Haha! You know what? My girl friend used to have a crush on you!
s.C.: Really ahaha :D;;

Hm, an4 lian4 doesn't seem to translate well into English. XD Oh gosh, I feel... so... strangely honoured. XD

s.C.: Well at least I don't spike up my hair now.
Friend: Mm, that's an improvement.

Oh no... XD *starts plotting to grow long hair*

And well, this should-I-go-ntu-or-nus thing is getting to be a problem for quite a few of us isn't it...

In other news, I -seriously- need to go shopping for clothes someday, or I'm gonna have to get through 4 years of uni with 2 weeks' worth of clothes. My wardrobe is so dismally limited.

If Jose Mourinho didn't mention it, why not I say it: Liverpool parked their big red bus in front of goal. (sporfle!) And my, what a bus it was. Unlike Spurs', at least it was able to rev its engine at appropiate times to attack. It wasn't that -exciting- a game per se, but with the overhanging expectedness of Chelsea getting THE winning goal, I had to at times just peek from beneath my conveniently-shielding hand to watch the game. My other arm probably got a near-case of Deep Vein Thrombosis if just for the reason I held my hand fixed in front of my mouth for too long during the match. And when Gudjohnsen threaded that last shot in there, heaven forbid, but I squeaked.

So. If you couldn't tell already, I was rooting for Liverpool last night.

Lastly: My goodness Mourinho you're just hilarious XD XD. I haven't chortled like that for quite a while just listening to postmatch comments. XDXDXD "The best team lost" Oh gods spare me already XDXDXD

 "Oooh what would we do without quizzes?"

I've always been an INTP in personality tests, or now and then an INFP. So I'm posting this quiz 'cos I see something new as my 5th-closest match: ISFP! ...or could've been ISTP, if I were in the mood of a Thinker today.

Your #1 Match: INFP

The Idealist

You are creative with a great imagination, living in your own inner world. Open minded and accepting, you strive for harmony in your important relationships. It takes a long time for people to get to know you. You are hesitant to let people get close. But once you care for someone, you do everything you can to help them grow and develop.

You would make an excellent writer, psychologist, or artist.

Your #2 Match: INFJ

The Protector

You live your life with integrity, originality, vision, and creativity. Independent and stubborn, you rarely stray from your vision - no matter what it is. You are an excellent listener, with almost infinite patience. You have complex, deep feelings, and you take great care to express them.

You would make a great photographer, alternative medicine guru, or teacher.

Your #3 Match: INTP

The Thinker

You are analytical and logical - and on a quest to learn everything you can. Smart and complex, you always love a new intellectual challenge. Your biggest pet peeve is people who slow you down with trivial chit chat. A quiet maverick, you tend to ignore rules and authority whenever you feel like it.

You would make an excellent mathematician, programmer, or professor.

Your #4 Match: INTJ

The Scientist

You have a head for ideas - and you are good at improving systems. Logical and strategic, you prefer for everything in your life to be organized. You tend to be a bit skeptical. You're both critical of yourself and of others. Independent and stubborn, you tend to only befriend those who are a lot like you.

You would make an excellent scientist, engineer, or programmer.

Your #5 Match: ISFP

The Artist

You are a gifted artist or musician (though your talents may be dormant right now). You enjoy spending your free time in nature, and you are good with animals and children. Simply put, you enjoy bueaty in all its forms and live for the simple pleasures in life. Gentle, sensitive, and compassionate - you are good at recognizing people's unspoken needs.

You would make a good veterinarian, pediatrician, or composer.

This month's Saiyuki has a couple of pages further explaining (the power of) the sutras -- including the names of the other sutras -- which I think is a rather interesting challege to translate. But frankly it's the first page that killed me, for we see Ukoku positively flirting with Hazel. Kind of. While Gato looks on... grudgingly... mm I'll stop now

Ooh, yesterday was Valentine's Day -- not. But close enough. Since I was giving out almost $8's worth of chocolate to people (the nice cleaning lady included)... 'cos twas my LAST DAY AT WORK, w00t.
Most of the temp staff there knew me for my drawing skillz(?), since I always drew comic strips/random characters in my free time, especially in my last few days, when I actually took up a couple of requests for portraits. The real people don't actually look quite like what I've drawn (that's why I have the nerve to post them up XD), but I'm quite proud of them since you can really see the improvement from the 1st pic to the 2nd one. Well yes, that's the amount of free time I can get from work. Though I didn't manage to finish the 3rd request :(
Point is, some of the temps got me an artist drawing pad ("acid free", it sez), with 20 sheets of lovely, textured, almost-A4 sized paper, which I doubt I'll -dare- to use anytime soon -- it's that beautiful to me -- especially since I don't buy this kind of thing myself.
I also got a nice handwritten poem-songlyrics from one of whose portrait I drew (one of the above), plus 2 small packets of Hershey Kisses from the nice lady beside me -- said she couldn't get a nice present in time cos I told her too late -- which actually almost negates my $8 chocolate ^_^
Remember when I said I wanted to make something for 2 of the perm staffs (the nice lady included)? In the end I merely did what I specialise in: the popup-letter 2-piece cards, which wasn't what I had in mind at first -_-. A lot of things happened actually, but I don't really have the space to list them all out here. I couldn't join them for dinner, however, since I had driving lesson.

So, I'm grinning. It's not because of the above-mentioned. It's not. And it's not because there's one squeeish Ukoku pic as well as a cute Hakkai in the coloured pages. It's not. -And- it's really not because I had such fun in the past couple of driving lessons (I bribed gave the nice instructor a chocolate too! *grinz*). It's not. XD Mmm, solved the site down-time as well. This is a good week hopefully capped off by tomorrow.

 。カセイメケヒシ。キ, only not.

ラタヌーコレイヤイヤ
メノハヌオリノマヤ
セルヘキヘキノメマ
オヘヘキヒシテラソキ

And if you read into s.C.'s comprehensive book of chinese literature abuse, it would mean:
1) Eergh! Flying ants!
2) The floor is crawling with them!!
3) The lamp above is engulfed in them!!!
4) ONE LANDED IN MY RICE. Then pretended to be rice husk. ew.

These are rainy days, you see.
And I think I made an oxymoron out of "hei cang cang". I'm such a genius. Yes. Really. I think so.

Wednesday, April 27, 2005 :: 11:26 p.m.

(Only one or two of you might actually be somewhat interested in the following entry, and even then you've probably booked in for the week :D;, but here goes...)

From the time I watched him score his first premiership goal against Arsenal to now, I have formed only one opinion of Wayne Rooney: a player of aggressive randomness. Now, this is not to be confused with "random aggressiveness", which unfortunately is also a trait he displays, but let's not go there...
It always strikes me as interesting how Rooney has the ability to create chances out of nothing (that Arsenal goal comes to mind), and score goals at the most unexpected moments.

Which is why, it wasn't that much of a surprise to me when Rooney crafted a goal out of thin air yesterday. But. my word, -what- a goal it was -- certainly goal of the week, perhaps the month, if not the season, if just for the sheer difficulty and awesome spectacle it represents. The way he unleashed that volley -- it was as though he went I can't stand the way this match's goin' FEEL my WRATH 'n Frustration WAARGH, and he put all of his raging explosive power behind the unfortunate ball. Which, well, swerved wildly into the top left corner as an absolute stunner. There is also the fact that he had to -run- a considerable distance before he actually came to where the ball was landing (sailing in from several metres away from the opposite direction of his right foot, too, with the goal to his right), and we realise it certainly takes some doing to -not- trip over your own feet hitting such volleys and end up doing a sprawling-rolling-penguin impression. If you know what I mean.

It could have ballooned to Stretford End 2nd tier, or curled just wide, or hit the post, or gone straight to the keeper, but who's giving credit to luck when it is more convenient to put it down to pure skills? But to me, his success as a player stems from this aggressive randomness of his as much as from his technique. Currently, his inexperience -- if I may say that -- works very well for him, as it let him take on opportunities however slight they are without the hesitation of experience. And when this wry randomness is backed up with his good workrate, prodigal technique and raw aggression, they combine to give us the rather lethal player who changed the flow of the Manchester Utd vs Newcastle game yesterday, and very well any other game on any other day.

But as is usual of essays(?) written to praise young football geniuses, the ending notes invariably voice possible doubts as to whether they can carry this fire to their peak and prime years and still work magic consistently from there on. A question which, in Rooney's case, is perhaps pertinent, since one of his greatest pros is the unique risk-taking attitude found in many youngsters' plays. Then again, maybe not so; unlike Michael Owen, he seems like just the kind of player who gets his thrills from risks, and who will continue to do so many years from now. Not to mention he has the skills that come through as amazingly innate.

Okay, I can't believe I'm sounding like a pundit and actually wrote this whole passage about Rooney. It's a spur of the moment thing. I think I'll read this next week and wonder why I even wrote it. 'Cuz, you know, I'm not a fan of his. But I guess I am impressed.

Fai initiates a group hug!

Picture courtesy of dm.wangyou.com

eeehehehahaha he is just so adorable ^3^ (What he's saying in the speech bubble is a minor spoiler...of sorts... so I just blanked it out.)
Still, after watching 3 episodes of the Tsubasa anime, I find the pacing rather slow in the last couple of episodes and there's not enough interaction between the characters, well, yet. The soundtrack is amazing though.

And now, having resolved irritating disk space issues concerning the computer, I shall proceed to scan the rest of this month's Saiyuki having tastelessly left it at page 10 or so.*shifty glance* The next chapter is coming out soon; I can't wait to see it. I also can't wait to hear the much-anticipated Gaiden news. *choke* But I also won't be able to afford WARD -if- that really turned out to be the case... *chokechoke*

Sunday, April 24, 2005 :: 11:52 p.m.

10 flying ants separately invaded s.C's workdesk yesterday.

s.C. requested to stop work by the end of next week.

These two events are not related. :D ...As for the number -10-, this was only after the numbers and creepiness factor became significant enough to start counting.
I MUST make something for the 2 of my colleagues who had been so nice to me all through this period. And maybe chocolate for the rest of them. :D

Saturday, April 23, 2005 :: 11:58 p.m.

 "You have a really nice name," they said.

After failing to discipher the proper english pronunciation for my chinese name ("don't worry; neither can I."), it is only normal for people to succumb and ask if I have a christian/english name. So in 2 separate lessons, I enlightened my driving instructors on this and actually elicited the above response from them, with today's instructor even saying that I have a smile to go with my name(!).
I was very pleasantly surprised because I myself am not really partial to this name, -plus- the fact that I... don't think... I've ever heard this compliment from anyone else at all. So to hear it in 2 consecutive lessons was astonishing, though luckily I didn't jump kerb or something from the surprise :D And about the smile part, well, 'twas night so, lighting wasn't good, maybe he couldn't see well or something. XD Because I grin weird sometimes.

Since I got on to this subject, might as well reveal what I learnt only just some while ago myself. I was initiallysupposedlygonnabe named "Yee", but due to [insert some long story I'm not even gonna try and cut short], it got scrapped and I was named my now pronunciation-challenged name.
So yes, it was to be a one-word name (which means I could have blended in with my PRC classmates and no one will be the wiser. hurhur. ...well ok, not really.); I think it goes very well with my surname.(Don'cha think so huh huh?) Though it'd have been particularly painful to write in traditional chinese -- too many strokes... :D

Eh. Never thunk it'll happen, but I don't really feel much enthusiasm towards the computer these days. Because after non-usage for 2 weeks, you actually go,"Hm. Computer. I hadn't touch it for 1209600 seconds so... hey, I can just go on for another 741701532 minutes and I won't care!"

I thought absence make the heart grow fonder? ...orsomething. But after I switch on the computer, I simply stone in front of it, perhaps scan some things, or crank up winamp, then my attention will be off to those shiny shiny manga in the other room. (Like I said, my attention span is very, very short.)

...But really, I've been reading and rereading Tsubasa Chronicles and thinking up Death Note crack so much lately I actually forgot what Sanzo looked like for a moment today (Fai would pop into my mind instead). Which is saying -something-.
And yes, after watching 2 episodes of the Tsubasa anime... ... Namikawa Daisuke's voice is so Fai. Just, yes. Must be the blond, gay, wispyhair character effect.
And Death Note's chapter 60 has finally come out after the 7(?)-week hiatus and I actually forgot. 7 weeks don't usually pass by this fast. Nia looks like one of those original characters I used to like to draw. It's the curlyhair effect mweheheh. I really love Takeshi Obata's drawing style. Of course, I love the plot as well. :D

About driving: Going round and round in the circuit for 100 minutes is PRETTY BORING. I -could- actually go out on the roads today, though I hadn't thought it'd be this quick(it's still the 2nd lesson!). BUT is it my fault when they didn't accept CASH when I specially went to apply for the Prov. driving licence DURING my lunch hour a few days ago? (But it's my fault for leaving things to the last minute. Hm. I'll let that rest.)

My fingers are still not in the mood to type what I wanted to type (read: something loooong). So I'll just post a drawing I did for Easter sometime last week during work for amusement. :D As usual, the drawing's not finished because I have no idea what mr. Bunny looks like without reference a short attention span, but I do hope to colour it someday...
It's not very obvious, ;_; but well, it's LittleKamisama complaining to mr.Bunny about his Naughty Sensei (read: U-Sanzo) and drawing an unkind picture of him (see bubble). Bunny remains taciturn as it is wont to be. The drawing+writing in the bubble is courtesy of my left hand. PH34R teh leFT HAND. :O
